I was plundering in my deep freeze this weekend, when I came across a bag of dried apples. So I thought I just put them suckers on to boil for a while.....I didn't time to measure Nothing.....Nothing I tell you!

Jeff makes fun of me from time to time when I comment on something....I'll say that sure is pretty produce, or that sure is pretty dirt.....on & on!

Well, that sure is a pretty PIE!

It just so happens my nephew came in the door about the time it was coming out of the oven! Being his number savvy self he is he rated it a "8".....hmmmmm I couldn't do it again in 100 years!

"CRAFTY CAT" strikes again!

I can't remember for the life of me where I got this table.....I've thought & thought about it!

My favorite part if the red flower print in two of the corners!
I don't have room for the whole table. So my handy-dandy husband took the top off hung it up for our picture & such.....TAA-DAAA!

Kitchen Floor

Our Room Project!

I just love it! My husband has become very handy! He's "heck" w/ a caulk gun I tell you! This was my mothers bed, We cleaned out our spare room tore out the carpet & we went to painting! I looks great! Now, what's next to be painted? I better give him a small break for now! =D

mardi gras

We got away for the weekend & headed to Gulf Shores for the Mardi Gras parades! The weather was a little cool but it didn't keep us in!

We'll I'm trying to get back in to a groove of some kind around here.....it's been a whirl wind of a ride. I'm ready to get off this roller coaster for now. I haven't posted anything since last October. Boooooo Me! =D I'm trying to do better! Here goes!

We had a great Thanksgiving. We went to mothers, had too much to eat as always. I loved it but my favorite part was the Wii .....That was the funniest thing ever! We all took our turn to do our best at bowling,dancing & baseball! It was so fun!

On another note....I lost my mother Dec.21,2010....less than a month after these pictures were taken.

It's not long until football time!!!!

Here comes Amos on the Zip Line!!

They're pulling me up for the swing!

I love the Life Quest Park. It's in Guntersville just over the big river bridge. They have 4 zip lines a giant swing! Two of the zips & the swing takes you out over the Guntersville Lake! My friend Amy & her boys met up the end of July to give this a try.....I know Jeff got tired of me talking about this for days!!! Did I say I loved it! This was the first time they opened up to the public. It was Moonlight Madness! YES! at night!!....it was from 8-12 p.m., we was this first group thru we walked outta there about 10:30 p.m. It was so hot that night ..No air was stirring!!! ~a FUN trip!!!

WE HAD A GREAT TRIP TO THE MOUNTAINS W/ THE MILLER'S! MR. MILLER IS A GREAT TOUR GUIDE. I THINK THE PARK SHOULD HIRE HIM,HE'D BE A GREAT ASSET TO THEM. MRS. MILLER IS A PICNICKING-PRO ALSO! WE RODE OUR BIKES AND TUBED THE ICY CREEK! WE RODE THRU CADES COVES SEVERAL TIMES TOO! WE HAD VISITS FROM BEARS HUNTING SOME TRASH AROUND CANS CLOSE TO OUR CABIN! HE WAS BIG!!! WE SAW LOTS OF DEER & TURKEYS. WE HAD THE CUTEST CABIN NAMED "BEARLY BELIVABLE"

POND RIDE~

Granny has went on her first pond stroll since her fall!!! Jeff rode her to the pond late yesterday after it cooled off a little. She's doing great! You can see by Cocoa's wagging tail, she's happy to see her! She escorted her all the way to the front door!

I found this snazzy old platter for .50 cents at a yard sale this weekend! I brought her home & gave her a good washing. I cut a vinyl big red "w" with my handy dandy Cricut. TA-DA!

I think mushrooms are neat......& good to EAT! I'm not testing any of these....I spotted them in our yard. Jeff will shred them soon, while speeding around on his mowing machine!
