Rowdy Weather

WHTN-"Horton Storm Chasers" are reporting from Preston Island (S'boro) & it's just awful folks! It looks like the tornado just sat himself down in that slough & went to town bouncing back from once side of the bank to the other! This is a few shots we have for you from the scene..

We went down to Kathy's Sunday for her birthday BBQ, Jerry was manning the grill he done a great job. We had way too much to eat as usual. Everyone brought sides & she had a wonderful strawberry short cake!

Oh!.... I had told you in a earlier post that a flower bed was brewing?! Oh me! I have 3 new flower beds!!! We had the best time all day long on Sat., we worked outside until dark & you can see Cocoa had her 2 cents in it too!

Hamp & Granny got in as much fishing as the weather would allow them this weekend. Jeff said at one time Hamp had 4 rods in the water! It looks like Judy caught her a stick! We enjoyed it!!

We are always happy when the "Georgia Crackers" come home for a visit this was a quick one I bet Cocoa is thinking what her & "D" is gonna get into over his summer break! They usually make many miles on the mule & even more hours at the pond! We found a lure he lost this weekend it'll be ready to go when he comes back!

~this is a couple of pic's of the magic show that the "Amazing William" has to preform when Tricia comes home especially if she stumbles upon a estate sale. He performed the magic act of getting it all in & on top of the vehicle without leaving anything! TA-DA !

I just wanted to let you know how much we appreciate your support while mother was in the hospital. It meant so much to us that you would take the time to come see her or send a card/call. Your kind words, company, and prayers really made a difference.
Thank you again for your thoughtfulness and your friendship. She'll continue to improve w/ rehab for a short couple of weeks.

WE GOT ALOT DONE THIS WEEKEND EVEN WITH HAVING THE ROUGH OL'WINDS, WE RAN AROUND THE POND ON THE "RED-NECK YACHT" ! AS USUAL ME & COCOA WASN'T ANY HELP, WE LIKE TO RUN HAP-HAZARD & A CAMERA IS ALWAYS A MUST!

1st fish for 2009

Well, here is the first fish for 2009 this is one of the bass we put in last April they weighed about 1/4 of a pound then & this one is right at a pound. I tagged him, so we can watch & see how they are fattin' up! Jeff caught this only after he distracted me from my rod & MOBY took off with it, rod & reel and all. I just can only believe it was planned! Hmmmmm! All I can say is "it's ON!" only if i can find my rod & that fat-headed catfish!! I will not hand my catfish crown over w/ out a fight! I think I'm just wired up that way~

~OH! WHAT A TANGLED WEBB I WEAVE!!!! OVER THE WEEKEND ON A MUCH PRETTIER DAY THAN TODAY, I SCRUBBED COCOA'S DOG FOOD DISPENSER & WATER BUCKET REAL GOOD! WELL..................... I GOT THE WATER OFF AT THE FAUCET BUT I DIDN'T AT THE "HANDLE/LEVER THINGY" I WAS BACKING OUT THIS MORNING THE SUN SHINING THE LITTLE BIRDS ARE CHIRPING & I SPYED THE ICE SKATING RINK COMING OUTTA THE BARN! OH, FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THINGS GREAT & SMALL! THAT'S WHEN IT HIT ME!!! THE WATER THINGY! IT HIT RIGHT BETWEEN THE EYES I TELL YOU! SO, I RAN & GOT THE WATER OFF THEN I WOKE THE #1 HUSBAND (SEE PREVIOUS POST) & CALL THE PLUMBER MAN! TO BEAT ALL HE'S NOT WORRIED ABOUT A THING EXCEPT WHY THE BUSH HOGG IS COVERED W/ THESE ICE BALLS? HE'S NOT WORRIED ABOUT THE FOOT LONG ICICLES COMING FROM HIS TRACTOR!
