~Sunny & Amos called Fri. evening in a mad dash to Hobby Lobby on a paper run & when I got homes my sweet husband had all the washing done , folded & put away!!!!

Miss Chicken!!

OH! look here!!! Isn't she the most beautiful hen ever? I told Jeff I got a good deal on some chicken today! I wasn't telling a story...... Also, the red pitcher to the right is my masterpiece from painting w/ the girls! FYI- on the stove is Jeff some tea & me a pot of green beans cause they are a "free" item on weight watchers! woo-hoo.....

A CRAFTY CAT....

go HERE for the neatest ideas for some crafty little frames! my pictures stink but i used them any way! i used a piece 12x12 vintage valentines scrape booking paper, a 4x6 mat & a little mod-podge~ wa-la...... i'm making helen some w/ magnets for her fridge & also a bulletin board. i'll keep you posted. :-}

We went & painted!!!

We went after work today & painted at the Groovy Gallery, with a name like that you know it's gona be fun!! GRRRRRRRROOVY GALLERY!!!!!! The other 3 was well behaved, I was proud of them! I can't wait till the end of the week when I can go get my masterpieces! I know Jeff is about ready to pull his hair out I've talked about this for a week! I can't wait to get to go back!

Stinky Salad (yummers!)

Jeff will announce to you very quickly how bad this stinks! he ha I love it! I'm on a quest to find something I can eat, as if i was one of them horses where the just hook the bucket on to it's head & I can just eat, eat, eat ! I think this is the closest I may get! This is the recipe for the coveted Stinky Salad by Jill. ;-) 1 bag of spinach, 3-4 chopped boiled eggs, 3-4 Roma tom's chopped,1 can of drained black beans, 1 can chopped olives, 3 cloves of minced fresh garlic, 2 Tb olive oil, 2 Tb shredded Parmesan cheese. Place all of this in a large bowl, mix well & cover, refrigerate. I'll give a random "stir" when I'm passing thru the kitchen. This is one of them things that's better the next day & even better the day after that! It makes alot! Enough for my lunch for the week & then some! ~next time i make it i'm gona add some mushrooms & maybe a big ol' red onion. I love this w/ a piece of grilled/baked chicken.

TA-DA !!! a new bulletin board

I've seen these little cute covered bulletin boards around here & there. So, I had me a idea just to make my own! All you need to do is decide what size you need for you space, jump in your pick-up & go get you a cork board, piece of fabric to cover the cork area & spray paint to match & maybe some Ric-Rack or ribbon. I just love Ric-Rack love, love, love it! I spray painted the frame of by board red trying to get it as close as I could to the red in the fabric I had picked out, which is a small print it has tiny tomatoes w/ a little green stems on them. Just enough color w/o being too busy! I used "spray" Elmer's glue adhesive to attache the fabric to the cork area & then cut my Ric-Rack to frame it out! ...TA-DA ! Just give me & can of spray paint & a glue gun & it's on!!!

Christmas w/ Jilly-Roo !

We met for lunch at Helen's on Wed. to swap our Christmas'en with Sunny, Jilly & Amos. That sweet Jilly was wild open tellin' tales & takin' a few calls on "her" cell phone. She talked to her uncle Jeremy most of the time. She thinks he's important ! We all loved our gifts, Jilly got her a Easy-Bake oven & she's probably still a cooking! Sorry, Sunny I really wanted to get her a drum set!!

a flippin' 5k run

Well, that dang Sunny has struck again! She's gone of the deep end & "we three" are gonna (walk,crawl,run at least finish) a 5k fun run in May! Yeah, May of this year 2009!!! She said something about a Cottontail Run in May, I told Amy that she's got to have the month wrong & that isn't like Sunny she's the "detailed one" of the bunch! I told Amy a Cottontail Run would happen only in March or April cause that is the season for "Cottontail" events! I told her May was just to hot of a month for rabbit season. Rabbits like cold weather! So I talk w/ Sunny last night & she's gonna find us one somewhere/someplace in the month of May. The only reason I'm doing this is because I never have done it before & if you finish you usually get a neat free t-shirt! That's the only reason I give blood! Neat T-shirts.

Confession Session

OK! here goes nothing.........I don't have time to leave work or run back & forth to town to attend the weekly Weight Watchers meetings! SO....... The only reason I'd do that to start with is because in this cloudy head of mine, I know I would have to weigh for someone & they may be upset w/ me if I hadn't done very well since my previous weigh in! I know it's just a mind thing! So, you my "blogger buddies " are now my weigh in coaches/audience! heehaw I'll weigh myself every Monday morning & post what ever it is here for you to see. UGHHHHH....... as of Monday 5th of January I'm setting at a whopping 155 lbs.

~ To be completely honest w/ you my weigh in viewers, I'm trying to think of something to eat right now. My one goal now is to find something, just anything I can eat about a 5 gallon bucket of & it taste good & be low in Weight Watcher point value! Just plain disturbed I tell.

These are just a few of my little beauties for the past couple of days of nothing but pure 100% junking! Yes, since you did ask that is a New "Vera Bradley, "On the go" in the "Cambridge" print, your eyes are not playing a trick on you that's the price tag only $2.99. The wonderful "bull" pitcher & butter dish was also a few of my great discoveries! I also landed a real nice slotted spoon, which I have trouble with them walking off around here?!......Enjoy, I must rest now ! hmmmmmm

Millerville Bed & Breakfast

~we brought in the New Year at the Millerville Bed & Breakfast! If you ever get a chance & if they happen to have a vacancy I suggest you go. It's located out in the country on the family estate. It has unbelievable amenities! The room service is the best anyone could ask for! Jeff fell head over heels for the flat screen HD t.v.'s. I loved it all, especially the breakfast! Yummers!
